This was the first video I ever made. Harris, my dad and I put the bikes on the roof of the car and we set off to stay the night near Mabie forest ready for riding in the morning. After a few hours we arrived and were ‘welcomed’ by a bartender who didn’t want to serve us any food because we were ten minutes before they stopped serving. Despite all this we got some dinner and headed round the corner to our airbnb and as soon as we left the pub it started to pour down with rain. In all the hurry to get in the house in the dark we didn’t realise that the bikes on the car roof had almost taken down our host’s electricity cables.
The next day was a beautiful with lots of sunshine , although it had rained a lot so it was very muddy. We set off on the trails at noon and did the red circuit which is a great run with lots of board walks and berms along with steep descents into rivers. This section we filmed is one of my favourites as its fast paced and there’s a good jump at the bottom.
